Movie Plot / Summary:
“Kalki 2898 AD” is a science fiction movie set in the year 2898. The story begins thousands of years earlier, during the Mahabharata war, when Ashwatthama is cursed by Lord Krishna to live forever until he redeems himself by protecting the mother of Kalki, the final avatar of Lord Vishnu.
In the distant future, Earth has become a desolate place, and the city of Kashi is ruled by a tyrant named Supreme Yaskin. He resides in a massive structure called the Complex and conducts cruel experiments on women to find a way to extend his life.
A woman named Sumathi escapes from the Complex with the help of rebels from a hidden place called Shambhala. Ashwatthama, still alive due to his curse, realizes that Sumathi is the mother of Kalki and decides to protect her. Meanwhile, a bounty hunter named Bhairava is hired to capture her but eventually discovers his own connection to the ancient past.
Kalki 2898 AD combines elements of Indian mythology with futuristic science fiction, showcasing a battle between good and evil and the hope for a better future.
