Moive Plot / Summary:
John Wick: Chapter 4 follows John Wick as he seeks freedom from the High Table. After killing the Elder in Morocco, the High Table appoints the Marquis Vincent de Gramont to eliminate him. The Marquis destroys the New York Continental Hotel and kills its concierge, Charon, as punishment for aiding John. He then forces John’s old friend, Caine, a blind assassin, to hunt him by threatening Caine’s daughter. John finds refuge at the Osaka Continental, managed by his friend Shimazu Koji. The hotel is attacked by the Marquis’s forces, leading to intense battles. John escapes, but Koji is killed by Caine. In New York, John and Winston devise a plan to challenge the Marquis to a duel, which could grant John his freedom. To do so, John must be part of a crime family, leading him to rejoin the Ruska Roma by killing Killa Harkan, a High Table member. The duel is set in Paris at sunrise. The Marquis chooses Caine as his proxy. Despite numerous assassins trying to stop him, John reaches the duel site. In the duel, both John and Caine are wounded. The Marquis, thinking John is incapacitated, attempts to finish him off, but John shoots and kills him. John is granted freedom but succumbs to his injuries. He is buried next to his wife, Helen.
